Why do my payments automatically default to a Wednesday pay date?
Although Telpay for Business automatically defaults payments to the next Wednesday, you can choose any date that you want to pay your suppliers. The advantage of consolidating and batching your payments on one day is fewer debits to your bank account. If you consolidate and pay 20 suppliers on a Wednesday, you will get a print out from Telpay for Business listing all of the payments separately, but only one debit will appear on your bank statement. This will help reduce the time it normally takes to do your bank reconciliation
